Analytics

Analytics shows how many people visit your website, what they look at, and where they come from.

How to open it

Choose Analytics in the Go live group of the nav rail.

What you can do here

  1. Choose what to look at. Pick the Project (or All projects), a Page, a Date range and the Visitor type.
  2. Read the headline numbers. Unique Visitors and Total Pageviews sit at the top, with a chart of traffic over time. The Highlights are worked out from those numbers.
  3. Dig in. See Top pages, Sources, Devices, Operating systems, Browsers, Countries and Referrers.
  4. Set goals. Choose New goal and give it a name (for example "Contact form sent") to count a win. Goals belong to one website, so pick a project first.
  5. Get a weekly report. Email this week's report now sends the summary; the settings next to it hold the ad pixels and weekly email.
  6. Connect Google Analytics. Configure GA4 takes the property ID and service account credentials, then Save Settings.
  7. Export. Export downloads the data.

Common questions

There is no data. A new website has none until visitors arrive and its pages are published. "No analytics data for this period yet" means just that. See Publish.
